My Favorite 25 Film, TV & Docs of 2020
Looking back on 2020, the real world was such a dumpster fire but the world of film and television had so many amazing & positive works of art that it was so difficult to narrow it down to just 25! Many thanks to all the actors, writers, and crew for delivering a hugely positive respite amidst a tumultuous year! As a film grad who had big ideas of broadening the definition of leading women, I was so proud to see so many female-led films and shows that really centered on women and their lives and not just their proximity to romantic partnerships or motherhood as the only storylines.
