My Top 10 2020 Pick-ups
2020 had so many heartbreaking storylines and plot twists that sneakers were a small respite for me to turn to. I really felt connected via the online community through many new amazing individuals via Instagram especially amongst women sneaker enthusiasts and a great newsletter along with a great inclusive community created by Michael Sykes! I definitely was able to commiserate with fellow sneakerheads about missing on Jordan 1 drops and securing great wins alternatively as well! I was very much searching beyond my normal Jordan purchases due to the pricing & sheer scarcity and found great wins in more signature basketball lines which really stepped up in design, colorways, and their comfortability was a major key factor! You can review any of my older Photoshoot Fresh posts for a closer look at the kicks and had a great Reel planned to Big Daddy Kane’s “Aint No Half Stepping” but technology didn’t want me to be great.

Nike & Concepts Kyrie 6 Golden Mummy - my 1st Kyrie/Concepts collab.
Nike KD 13 & NBA 2k Collab - was an exclusive that finally, one day dropped back on the Nike app!
Jordan WHat the? 5’s - was totally shocked to win on the SNKRS app for release date drop and see a What the be available in GS sizes.
Nike LeBron 17 What the? - excited to pick these up on GOAT for retail & have another What the in GS sizing.
Jordan 1 Mid Pine - kept re-checking FL & Champs for a restock and jumped on it after missing out on Black Pines earlier. My only 1 this year.
Nike Air Max 90 Reverse Ducks & Orange Duck pack - Misses for the original release but was able to on GOAT both for at retail prices months later!
Jordan 1 Low Women’s Snakeskin - Was on Champs website and stumbled on these during drop day!
Adidas D.O.N. 2 Issue Prove Them Wrong - Big supporter, of Spida Mitchell and wanted to support, my 1st ever pair of Adidas! Love the colorway & the message!
Nike Freak 2 Naija - Big supporter of Giannis and this new 2nd iteration for his shoe spoke to me and was a chance to have a similar print to the Naija Track Suit I missed out on a few years back!
