Photoshoot Fresh - Kyrie 6 Appreciation Week

This week’s edition of my new series is spotlighting my love affair with the Kyrie 6s! I have always admired the construction & color-ways that Kyrie Irving has unfolded through each iteration of his Nike signature shoe but this series really is an amazing culmination of color, design, comfort and story!
Kyrie spreads the love of designing for his collection to his stylist and also fashionable older sister, Asia! She has made a great lane for herself with styling not only Kyrie pregames & off-the court for brand campaigns and appearances but also rising talent Jayson Tatum, recently going in front of the camera for fashion shoots and now she’s showing off her design aesthetic with these two shoes. Women designers are so rare in sneaker culture so it’s a great feat and excitement to see her shine and as a fellow women sneaker head you love to see it!
In this Behind the Design video, she breaks down the inspiration for the colors and details some of which are inspired by the women in her family. And also just the overall message of empowering women all around the world! Also, a great reveal video with her brother Kyrie, showing the finished product along with a cheering family pan in her video, love to see their sibling bond!
