Photoshoot Fresh- Kyrie 6 Appreciation Week

This week’s edition of my new series is spotlighting my love affair with the Kyrie 6s! I have always admired the construction & color-ways that Kyrie Irving has unfolded through each iteration of his Nike signature shoe but this series really is an amazing culmination of color, design, comfort and story!

Although this shoe dropped in June, I noticed it when Ja Morant, frequent supporter of Kyries, rocked it on the August 3rd game in the bubble against Zion and the New Orleans Pelicans! This particular shoe, the N7, has a unique story found specifically in the detailing with each symbol and quilting along the side of the shoe which pays homage to his late mother and her Standing Rock Sioux Native American heritage. N7 is a Nike initiative started back in 2000 and can be read more about here.
