Transformation Tuesday: Three New Products
Hope everyone is continuing to stay safe and well. Summer is in full effect for most of us whether outside is “open “ or not and here are three products I have in rotation right now to aid in the steamy & humid weather!
Kiehl’s Calendula Water Cream- I started using this recently in place of my daily oil from Kiehl’s ( so after my serum and before my oil-free gel moisturizer) due to the forehead shine especially was getting bad which I noticed in my selfies that I was posting. I love this because the texture is so light & cool, a pleasant scent and it does a great job of giving a dewy but not oily finish along with helping smooth any redness away which is what the whole Calendula line is known for which I love using and have seen a great difference over the last year.
For my hair, with going out for walks or staying inside for video workouts, this great Carol’s Daughter liquid to foam wash delight really deep-cleans all that sweat & residue that accumulates without stripping my natural hair of its oils. The scent is invigorating, the pointed tip applicator definitely aids in getting directly to the scalp area to distribute the liquid and I use this every other week for wash day followed by my leave-in conditioner.
This great Superberry overnight mask from Youth To People was part of my Sephora rewards options before quarantine and I was very excited to finally try out this new brand, especially it being a vegan product. I started using once a week, try not to use on the same days as exfoliating as this has hyaluronic acid and may sting after freshly scrubbed skin! Although I have more oily skin, staying inside more and now cranking the ac can dry out your skin so this is a great overnight mask to help re-gain moisture and give a great glow and plump back to your skin.
