Transformation Tuesday : Five Winter Weather Products
Winter weather, albeit mild in NYC this year , still is the time that hydration lacks which is a major key to keeping a glowing complexion! Here are five products I have used thus far this winter season to keep my normally oily skin smooth and dewy.
Tried out this deluxe sample from Kiehl’s for nighttime eye from the midnight recovery line which is a personal staple & favorite of mine. The lavender scent will reel you in and the gentleness of the cream aides in moisture infusion with a melt in skin application. A little goes a long way!
The mini-mask set for Kiehl’s is a great way to sample things without wasting money or product such as this hydration masque with Calendula & Aloe which you can apply morning or night and wash off after 15 mins then resume your normal routine! I use this once a week for a nice gentle infusion of hydration!
I picked up this free sample with my VIB rewards at Sephora for First Aid Beauty Coconut Water gel for a light moisturizer after my oils and before my SPF, normally I use Kiehl’s oil free gel moisturizer but tried this out and is definitely a comparable match! Really enjoyed the texture and no breakouts from this product for using after a week!
Another masque in the mini pack was the overnight Ginger Leaf & Hibiscus firming mask which you can use at night after cleansing and before your oils/serums to give you a shot of hydration with a side of firming which you can already gently feel after applying!
Finally a staple of mine for lip conditioning is this great sugar based exfoliating scrub from Lush this is a special holiday flavor edition of Sugar Plum which I use at least 1 time a week to get rid of the dead skin cells and then pair with the Kiehl’s lip masque at night to be able to really prep my lips to highlight all the great lipstick colors I rock!
