Trainer Talk Thursday: Women in Sneaker Culture- Sneakervision Top 10 2020 Pick-Ups

For years I have gotten excited to read and see what was listed as someone’s Top 10 pick-ups for that year and as the years kept passing I never saw any women selected or spotlighted which was very troubling to me. So this year with my own site, I wanted to spotlight some of the women I profiled earlier to see what their personal Top 10’s were and hear the stories that other sites aren’t showcasing! 2020 has been a crazy sneaker year. I would have to say I truly enjoyed being able to get my hands on sneakers that retroed. AND some really dope releases for women.

1. First on my list-I was GLAD to get a pair of the Jordan 13 Flint's. They were a must-have on my list for a long time.

2. I would say the Jordan Fire Red 5's because they retroed back to true form. I was watching The Last Dance and was able to catch them on the shock drop.

3. The same could be said about my Fire Red 4's. They retroed back to the Nike tab being on the back. They were a MUST get for me.

Next, I am going with a bunch of dope sneakers that dropped for women.

4. The Melody Eshani Women's OG Black and Red Jordan.

5. Also the Women's OG White and Black Jordan, every woman should have this sneaker in her closet, we haven't seen this sneaker since 98.

6. Jordan 1 Satin Snake for women. Beautiful sneaker. This sneaker looks fierce and bold!

7. I would have to say the Jordan 1 NC to CHI...definitely a dope sneaker that you can rock with almost anything.

8. Loving my Jordan 1 Lucky Green for women. The details were dope to me. The Patent leather swoosh, the inner sole having the look of a hardwood floor, pebbled leather. Love these.

Ok, my next purchases were kind of "hypebeast" purchases. LOL!

9. The Off-White Black Jordan 5. I really wasn't pressed to get these. But on release day, I said, I will try...I probably won't get it, but let me try. And I got them.

10. The Off White Green Strike or Rubber Dunk. I haven't seen many people rocking these. I haven't put them on feet yet, BUT I will. I can't wait to see what Nike and JordanBrand will have in store for women next year.
