My Top Pickups (May-July) 2021
It was definitely a difficult decision narrowing this list down was so fortunate to be able to acquire so many great ones ! All these are special to me whether it was the colorways, silhouette or the player behind the shoe! Drop a comment below or via Twitter or Instagram some of your fave pickups so far this year!
10- Nike Black/Red/Gold Court Borough- This was first time copping this affordable line and was a special app Colorway so felt special for a hot minute lol but great colorway, love the low for the warmer months and really versatile.
9- Adidas D.O.N. 2 Run The World- Saw these on Hoops Sneakers page in advance and was eagerly looking on the Adidas app to see when they dropped stateside and in my size 5! Love supporting Donovan & the colors and etching in person is really lovely! Perfect for the summer wardrobe dresses up or down!
8- Nike AirMax 2090 Olive/Orange- Had my eyes on these for a bit and was happy to get a sale on FL! I’m always on the lookout for Olive kicks and really enjoying this 2090 silhouette super comfy and breathable toe box materials and great transition for summer to fall looks!
7- Adidas Dame 7 All Star Rose Garden - Saw these as well on Hoops page always want to support my guy Dame and loved the rose print for these! I don’t have a lot of pink in my collection so liked these with the black colorway. Great comfort and can work in fall & winter months as well!
6- Nike Waffle Racer 2x Tan/Cream/Red - Had to continue to stock up on one of my new fave silhouettes this year so versatile with the colors and pairing with more dressy looks or can go casual as well along with this colorway being perfect to transition to fall!
5- Nike Durant 13 Eybll White/Turquoise/Gold - Was very happy with an unexpected restock on the Nike app for these I have never been able to get the Eybll editions before for the KDs (been rocking with him and his line for minute now) so very happy and this colorway was perfect for several looks I wanted to show for the summer I’m really all about luxe and this gold is a great touch!
4- Nike Cosmic Unity Melon/Black/Lime- Love the idea behind this line with recycled materials and this colorway spoke to me with the vibrant colors! The fit is good and comfy and loved pairing with my summer looks! Definitely on the lookout for more vibrant ones that they drop!
3- Nike Kyrie 7 Weatherman’s- Loved the synergy with Kyrie & KD on court and taking that to the sneaker level is great with using a KD colorway for these Kyries! As the Queen of a Kyries, this was a must have and was waiting months after seeing on Kyrie Features, Hoops & Sneaker Reporter pages when they would finally drop state side and in my size ! The texture and vibrancy definitely didn’t disappoint in person!
2- Jordan Georgetown 3 - Such a classik colorway for one of my fave teams and silhouettes! Was so happy that Kids FL did a restock and checked constantly to make sure it went through with a tracking number 2 weeks later per their emails! Wohoo the quality is on par and the fit is good definitely will be in regular rotation for sure! One of the rare Ws for Jordan’s for me this year !
1- Nike Kyrie 4 Low Keep Sue Fresh- This was a tuff one to cop with the delayed releases and the initial release not coming in my size 5 😢. Good looking to Kyrie Features to alert to the sneak drop on the Nike app to swoop in and support Sue Bird & Kyrie with this drop ! Look out for my outfit pic coming soon with this one!
My BONUS pick below, had to add this one in as the Queen of Kyries!
My bonus pick: Nike Kyrie 7/Concepts collab after a few stalled drop dates and I finally was able to add this to the collection! Such great texture and vibrancy along with great gold accents!
