My Top 10 Pickups (Jan-April) 2021
It was definitely a difficult decision narrowing this list down was so fortunate to be able to acquire so many great ones ! All these are special to me whether it was the colorways, silhouette or the player behind the shoe! Drop a comment below or via Twitter or Instagram some of your fave pickups so far this year!
10- Nike Air Max Exosense- Loved this blue various shades colorway looked like a stain glass effect online & was a new silhouette but the fit was super comfy! Goes with a lot of different looks!
9-Nike Giannis Freak 1PE /NBA2k - Was so excited when these came online on the Nike app saw them on players but didn’t think they were available for release let alone in GS5! The Purple /Orange gradient is so it for me and goes so well with my Valley City Edition Suns tee/hat!
8- Nike Women’s Waffle 2X- This is a brand new silhouette for me was looking to match some looks and this combined Navy/ Blue/Yellow colorway definitely was a winner and then I snatched them up in other colors coming soon to Photoshoot Fresh looks!
7- Nike PG 5 La Drip - When I saw these online at Hoops Sneakers page I was so excited then had to hope they came in my size ! Luckily, Nike app did have my size GS5 in this Lapis Blue/Coral/Mint colorway easy cop and very comfy !
6- Reebok Question Kobe/Lakers - Missed out on the initial drop , but was able to find a good deal on re-sell def as an Iverson & Kobe supporter there was no Question I would love these Yellow Toes in my collection!
5- Adidas Dame 7 Ric Flair- Definitely wanted to support one of my fave players Dame Lillard & these were a perfect pair to with the details and gold colorway! I was fortunate when they did re-stock on the Adidas app as I missed out on them initially! My 1st Dames but definitely have been getting others in the Dame 7 line!
4-Nike LeBron 18 Reflections- Saw these online multiple places and the heel details with the Teal & Yellow is what sold it for me! Missed out on the initial drop then thought I was set when FL re-upped for my bday only to be told days later they couldn’t find them and no resell had my size. Then January comes around and bam they are listed on the Nike app and I had put them in my cart waiting for my next check crossing my fingers they would still be available & voila got a Win! They are just as gorgeous in person but have to say a bit heavy overall and def make sure to wear high socks as the plastic tongue was scraping my ankle at first.
3- Nike Kyrie 7 Samurai Kai- If you don’t already know I am the Queen of Kyries and these beauties were a must have again the heal stitching is amazing along with the colorway I love a great Navy paired with these brighter Green & Coral tones is a win win for me! The fit is very comfy wasn’t totally sold on the 7 silhouette online but in person the lace like effect around the front toe is very nice ! This was a tuff one to narrow and not include other Kyries but definitely this is my fave by a small margin for the 7s thus far!
2- Nike Air Max 1 Limeade/Lemonade Pack- Ok so this is technically 2 but it’s in a pack so there’s that caveat! Like so many, I took a L on the initial release and kept tabs on resell prices and finally was at cost to get these 2 beauties especially for the spring /summer coming! Love the fit the details and all the lace swaps! This is a rare win for me with the size 5 on resell!
1- Jordan XXXV Jayson Tatum Women In Power- Was very excited to see these would be released in GS sizes had some hiccups on SNKRS app to get these but got that win eventually! Tatum is one of my fave rising stars and loved the whole message so def wanted to support! The box & the detailing are grade A quality and looking forward to rocking for an upcoming Photoshoot Fresh! Now if more of his PE’s would release! Willing to test them out Jordan Brand! For a closer look of these check my Reels!
