Transformation Tuesday: Love & Fragrance

Transformation Tuesday: Love & Fragrance

Checking if for Love & Romance week today’s spotlight is on Fragrance! Lots of great threads about if folks are still applying fragrance while working from home and the pros and cons. I absolutely love to still wear mine as it is an instant mood-booster for me! It’s also a great gift for yourself or someone for the upcoming Valentine’s Day! Finding the perfect scent is another story though!

Most women’s scents are in 1 of 4 fragrance profiles: Clean, Floral, Woodsy, Warm/Spicy with many sub-categories from there. Once you read the major ingredients or test them out when we could be outside, you can start to pick up what specific ones you and your body chemistry gravitate towards.
I have a lot of allergies so it took a while before I would wear anything other than some oils I used to get at the incense cart at Fulton Mall back in the day, coconut Egyptian musk was my go-to! With technology, a lot of stores like Sephora have organized their search categories to be able to select a profile category and then will show you which brands fall under that and the corresponding top, middle, and base notes. So pretty simple and helpful to navigate from there!
I am more a Woodsy & Warm/Spicy person so a lot of my faves are rich and can be a bit dense/heavy in the warmer months but also can lean towards Unisex as well which opens up more possibilities. These are my go-to signature scents for the last few years pictured, all can be found at Sephora except Rogue which is still available online at Perfumania! Drop a comment below or via Twitter or Instagram your fave scents right now and what category you fall into!
