Transformation Tuesday: Three New Products

Transformation Tuesday: Three New Products

Hope everyone is continuing to stay safe and well as we move into the Fall season and the last quarter of this year! Although it’s definitely full swing into fall, the temps here in NYC haven’t quite steadied to that cooler chill just yet!

With that said, this is a great time to test out new products especially in the moisture and dryness department to see for possible irritation and also for positive effects of the products for your hydration concerns.

Also, if you have been collecting samples pre-quarantine and were hoping to use on a later trip that didn’t happen, start trying them out before they go bad!

That’s what I have been doing with these three products in this post!

First up was a duo pack for my Sephora rewards birthday present last year by Drunk Elephant:

Jelly Cleanser - love this packaging where the top unscrews but doesn’t detach so no dropping the cap in the shower or on the ground or leaking! So perfect for those future trips for your carry on! As for the product, no harsh scents, and the gel definitely was gentle on my sensitive & oily prone skin. The vegan product didn’t cause any breakouts with it and it seemed to be a good back up for my normal cleanser if/when I wanted to switch up!

Polypeptide Cream - This cream was very thick, so a little goes a long way! I only used it in the evening because of the consistency. The proteins in the vegan formula tout to help with elasticity, youthfulness, sun damage, and lines & wrinkles. I did see some firmness after about a week of consistent use and no breakouts or other adverse effects but not a lot of difference from my normal routine though. Overall, it would be a solid choice to switch to once my day/night routine products finish up. The price points are a bit higher than current products, which would need to be considered depending on your budget.

Lastly, I received this deluxe sample of the new Vitamin C Eye Serum with my Kiehl’s purchase right before the Covid shutdown. This new product in their line touts to reduce lines & dark circles in just 1 week of use. Although I was able to use this small sample for 1 week, I believe the amount /frequency may have fallen short of the timeframe to see definitive results. It didn’t cause any breakouts or irritation like some eye creams in the past have so would be inclined to get a full size to see results as dark circles due to sinus and allergies are a real concern of mine.

Overall, all three products were a positive experience, and would definitely consider working into a future routine once my current products are used up depending on my budget! Drop me a comment below or via Instagram or Twitter if you have used any of these and some of your fave samples you have been testing out!
